Meet Dr. Mackey

My family and I moved to Lamar in 2014. My wife and I were both raised in Arizona. We met in high school and now have four children Hallie, Whitney, Caleb and Wyatt. 
I attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After school I worked in the state of New Mexico as I looked for the “perfect practice”. During this time I expanded my skill set and improved my techniques. I love learning and actively seek out the leaders in the dental field to learn from them and further my education and skills in dentistry. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and the Southeastern Colorado Dental Society. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling and enjoying live music.
